So many people these days are asking about the Mark of the Beast and there is genuine fear in some of these inquiries. Pastor Martin Saine shares what the mark of the beast is, how it will be given and how it is a choice to worship the Anti-Christ, a choice of allegiance to the Beast.
Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives [f]those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has [g]the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. Revelation 13:11-17
Revelation 14:9-11 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
To choose to not accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior now, will result in living through the tribulation when Jesus returns for His church. If you are not a child of God when the rapture happens, you will live through the worst 7 years the world has ever seen. You will ultimately have to make the choice to worship the Anti-Christ and take the mark, forever sealing your eternal fate, to be tormented forever in the lake of fire or to die at the hand of the Anti-Christ for refusing to take the mark.
Don’t make the choice then, when the devastation and death in the world will be catastrophic. The Bible says, “Today is the day of salvation.” None of us know when we will die; life is fleeting and to put off the question “what you will do with Jesus?” could result in dying apart from Him, and spending an eternity in hell, or being left behind when the church is raptured, and making the choice to take or not to take the mark of the beast, 666, which will result in great hardship and potential death.
2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
