“I HAVE overcome the world!” Jesus said. This is present, perfect tense, it is an event that happened at one time, a specific time in history, that has an eternal impact.
Jesus didn’t say, “I am overcoming the world, I will eventually overcome the world. I might get to it later. He said, “I HAVE overcome the world!” Present, perfect tense.
He overcame it then,
it’s still overcome today!
