I am thankful that God is still on His throne! He has proven time and again that He, and He alone can be counted on in ALL situations at ALL times and putting our faith in Him will never fail.

During what has been a very difficult time God has kept my heart calm. Fear has not taken root or directed my path. He has placed me in a great fellowship with men and women who love the Lord and each other.
He has kept our school, our church, and our home together and our eyes fixed on Him.

GOD is GOOD!

It is important for me to get back to fellowship for several reasons. First of all God says to!

Hebrews 10:23-25 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

There's only so much we can do as a Church remotely. We do what we can, but the true life of the church is ministry. Serving, assisting, encouraging, stirring up, exhorting, and loving one another in person is what we were built to do. No matter how we minister remotely, a video or text cannot replace the look in the eye, the hug to a broken heart, the presence of the Spirit felt from one believer to another.

We're a family, and families get together! If God calls us to get together, (and we have a standing order in Hebrews!), and we are obedient to that call, then we have done our part. God is then responsible for the rest.

To enter His courts with thanksgiving means to come to the place where God is, His presence and place of meeting, with joy and thanksgiving because we have been invited! We are not coming to Him out of drudgery, obligation, or emotionless duty; we are coming to Him because He wants us to be with Him!

We can do this individually, but we are also to do this corporately. A family gets together is best when all the family is there. I can't wait to see my family in person again as we praise and love our God together!

There are certainly times where one just cannot make it to church and you are dearly missed, but we don't want you to miss having your spiritual tank filled, so we invite you to join us on our Live Stream on Facebook.

We look forward to worshiping with you and your family each Sunday.

Blessings,
Pastor Martin and Sue Saine
